Happily Ever After
In 2018, Happily Ever After successfully placed 480 dogs and cats in their forever homes
On a daily basis, Happily Ever After provides direct care for approximately 200 dogs and cats
Happily Ever After extends a lifetime guarantee to ever companion animal that enters its care
In 2018, Happily Ever After transferred in 259 dogs and cats from its shelter partners in the Southern United States.
Why? Shelters in the south are often overpopulated and under resourced which leads to very high rates of euthanasia
How monetary donations help
$10 microchips one dog or cat
$25 helps purchase 3 bags of cat litter
$50 provides routine vaccinations for 6 dogs or 10 cats
$100 outfits a foster home with care necessities
$500 prepares 2 at-risk lives for adoption
Hour of Love
The dates of the event are May 1st and 2nd.
This is Happily Ever After's second year hosting this event.
The event will be virtual this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Volunteers can start their hour whenever they please.
The goal for each volunteer is to raise at least $100 during their hour.
People can utilize different social media platforms as well as calls, texts, and emails to help reach their goal.
Originally, the event was a part of
Give Big Green Bay
.
In 2019, $64,000 life saving funds were raised with 72 slots filled.
Their goal this year is $50,000.
Those who volunteer are provided a pre-event guide as well as en event guide with sample messages and statistics to use during the event.
The tagline is "Share an hour. Save a life."
